1998 – 2007
Following a degree in fine art, I spent ten years in-house and in-agency at companies across London. I worked at some terrific places on clients ranging from Disney to BT (making animations for Vogue.com was a particular highlight) and learnt from some amazing people. One of the big things I learnt is that the internet is so many things. There really isn’t a single way to do anything. It’s all about figuring out what the specific issue is and finding the right solution.
2007 – 2009
After years as a freelancer I took a permanent job, heading up the Digital team at London marketing agency, The Croc. Together we worked on lots of marketing campaigns – including highly complicated, multi-language microsites – for Chevrolet, EMC and Nectar business.
2009
I moved to Cambridgeshire and went back to my sole-trader roots, working directly for clients like Jesus College, The Fitzwilliam Museum and the Cambridge Archeological Unit.
Now
Since then I’ve worked directly for clients across everything from tech to graphic design, helping SMEs and solo creatives market themselves online.
It’s a lovely job.
